We are thrilled to invite you to the Whidbey Swordplay Association’s Annual Celebration on January 25th, 2026! This exciting event is open to all swordplay enthusiasts, martial artists, and anyone curious about the art of historical fencing and combat. Whether you’re an experienced swordsman, swordswoman, or a newcomer eager to learn, this event offers something for everyone.

What’s Happening?

Potluck & Fellowship
Kick off the day with some delicious foods! Enjoy a wide variety of yummy food while mingling with fellow swordplay fans and practitioners. This is the perfect chance to make new friends and catch up with old ones in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

Sword Games
Get your heart pumping with some fun and light-hearted sword games! Whether you’re practicing your technique or just having fun with friends, these games are designed to challenge your skills while offering plenty of laughter.

Sparring
Step onto the floor for some friendly sparring matches. Test your skills against others in a safe and controlled environment. This is an excellent opportunity to hone your technique, get feedback from experienced instructors, and enjoy some friendly competition.

Who Can Attend?

This event is open to all ages and skill levels. Whether you’re a long-time member of the Whidbey Swordplay Association or just curious about swordplay, we welcome you to join the celebration. Family and friends are encouraged to come and watch the festivities!
