We have full sets of loaner gear for folks who do not have their own kit yet, you do not need to make any purchases in order to start training with us.
RECOMMENDED ORDER OF GEAR PURCHASE
- Sword (Synthetic or Steel; Pentti, Blackfencer, Sigi, Kvetun, Regenyei are great choices)
- Mask (Absolute Fencing is a great choice)
- Gorget (Purple Heart Armory, PBT, and Vytis are great choices)
- Gloves (SPES or HF, there are a few others as well)
- Cup/Breastplate (Please buy one of these)
- Forearms and Elbows (Purple Heart Armory, SPES, HF)
- Jacket and Pants (350N or 800N rated, light or heavy… choose wisely)
- Legs (Purple Heart Armory, SPES, or a used/new set of catchers leg guards. Mizuno Samurai are fantastic!)
